MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
At Chemz we respect the fundamental human rights of every individual, regardless of who they are, or where they are from. New Zealand’s Plan of Action against Forced Labour, People Trafficking and Slavery was launched in March 2021, and reaffirms New Zealand’s commitment to prevent and eliminate all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour in international supply chains. Chemz takes its responsibility to recognise and respect human rights very seriously and seeks to prevent or mitigate adverse human rights impacts linked to our operations and products via our business relationships.
Chemz works with our suppliers and consumers to ensure modern slavery, including forced labour is removed from our supply chain. Chemz is also committed to sourcing our products and services from suppliers that provide safe working conditions, treat workers with respect and dignity, and conduct their business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
We remain committed to the eradication of modern slavery and we appreciate that this commitment assists in building consumer confidence and trust in the Chemz brand, product and customer experience.
